BHS Afterschool Enrichment Classes

Bonsall Education Foundation is offering several Afterschool Enrichment classes to BHS students this Fall season however, registration is very low for these classes.  Please take a look at the classes that are still open for registration and discuss the opportunities with your students.  These classes are small programs to add to the already growing school activities. If we cannot meet minimum enrollment the classes will be canceled.

DANCE CREW
North County Academy of Dance - Dance Crew at Bonsall High School. Students learn the art and discipline of dance set to fun music. Performance opportunities include school events, assemblies, athletic events/games, Bonsallpalooza, and others. Fee for uniforms and practice attire required.

SEW FUN
Learn sewing skills basic to intermediate. Lessons will include sewing construction, how to use a pattern and sewing machine skills. All students will complete a minimum of 2 projects by the end of the class. All materials/tools needed are included in the class fee and will keep basic sewing kit. Students will use BEF sewing machines on site.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
During the Electrical Engineering classes, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine electronics and circuits. Students learn about circuit schematics and circuit theory. They experiment with Snap Circuits® to discover the capabilities of major electronic components. In addition, students build complex flashlights, motorcycle, speakers, and more!

VIDEO GAME DESIGN: PLATFORM GAMES
During the Video Game Design: Platform Game Camp, students will use Multimedia Fusion 2.5® to create a video game. A platform game is a side-scrolling, Mario-type game where students program characters and a two-dimensional obstacle course. They attempt to avoid or overcome enemies and reach an end goal on multiple levels. Students take home a playable copy of the game they create.
